Childrens Picnic Table, White Cedar
Do your kids climb up on your picnic table, trying to find a comfortable way to eat or play? Does your heart skip a beat every time you see them perched up there? Now you can relax and they can be more comfortable with our Kids’ Picnic Table! With a table top height of 22″ and a seat height of 12″, this table will suit your kids to a ‘T’! Our light weight yet durable kid size picnic tables are very popular with schools and day care centers across the country. Hand crafted in the rolling hills of northern Maine, each is lovingly crafted of quality white cedar, a strong, durable wood that requires no finish or chemical treatment to withstand the elements. Each table is carefully sanded to ensure smooth edges and splinter-free surfaces. The tables are assembled in the shop to assure proper fit, then the pieces are marked and partially dis-assembled for shipping. All the necessary screws are included, along with clear instructions for assembly (very easy!)
Dining Tables: Outstanding Projects from America’s Best Craftsmen
Customer Review: A Compliment to any Woodworker’s Library
I bought this book to learn about dining table construction. The instructions are clear and concise and includes ALL the steps required to make 9 tables. Kim Carleton Graves is obviously a very good teacher and it really comes across in this book. I found this book a great learning aid and I’m sure I will refer to it time and time again. Please publish a book on chairs.
Customer Review: Just what you need if your going to build a dining table
Dining room tables are different in complexity than smaller tables, so its apropos that Taunton chose to put these tables in a separate book from their Tables book. I have both, and have built projects out of both. The Dining Table book deals has a nice layout and design section in the beginning where it describes the minimum and ideal dimensions for tables built for certain numbers of people. The book contains a nice selections of projects, including a trestle table (pictured on the front cover), a shaker style kitchen table (which I built), various expandable tables, and a boat table constructed using a torsion box. I would also recommend reading the Tables book by Taunton, as it has a dining room table designed by Frank Klausz which is awesome.
