Customer Review: Shattered on day one! It’s a cheap Chinese product
I had a Corningware cutting board a few years ago which doubled as a trivet and counter protector, so I assumed this Pyrex board would be heat and breakage resistant. It isn’t. The red rubber feet can stain a white counter. If all you want is a cutting board, I’d recommend a plastic one. My unit broke after 6 minutes under the “stress” and heat of a small Foreman Grill which barely gets hot on the bottom.
Customer Review: Pyrex is usually made in the USA. Unfortunately, this product is not.
I am pleased with the quality of these cutting boards. I ordered two of them to replace old plastic ones I had been using. I enjoy using my other Pyrex items, especially the glass bakeware, and I am proud to purchase items made in the USA. I was surprised when the cutting boards arrived and I discovered they are made in China. I cannot figure out why a company like Pyrex, which makes its other glass bakeware and cooking items in the USA, would have this item made in China. Each cutting board is well made and has four non-slip pads on the bottom side. A worthwhile purchase.
