Customer Review: The best little timer ever invented~
This is the best little timer ever invented! I used to have an old digital timer where you have to press the button as many times as the number of seconds or minutes you needed to set it on. But with this one, all you have to do is just type in on the number pad the number of hours, minutes, and seconds (literally in seconds) and voila! Your timer is set. I don’t see how anyone would not use this. It’s such a TIME saver!!! Look no further~ This is worth every cent you will spend on a timer, unless of course you would like to just sit and keep pressing the button as long as it takes to set a timer…
Customer Review: Useful but a bit awkward
I really like that this timer takes standard batteries instead of the small watch batteries that are harder to find. I also like the individual numbers for entering the time - more efficient than pressing a minute button 25 times. My biggest problem is that the magnet holds the timer so far out from the fridge that when I try setting it with one hand (which is usual since the other hand usually has an oven mitt on it or a spoon in it), the timer is unsteady and wobbles around as I push buttons, and often falls to the floor. So it essentially takes two hands to operate, which doesn’t work well for me.

And few things are more important when exploring unfamiliar territory than a compass. The Vector’s electronic compass contributes by guiding you with cardinal or half- cardinal points and a North-South arrow. The compass can also be set to track a certain bearing, which helps you follow a chosen direction. Meanwhile, the unit’s declination adjustment function allows you to correct the difference between true North and magnetic North.

In addition to the variety of outdoor functions, the Vector also displays normal time, with such add-ons as three daily alarms, a calendar programmed to the year 2089, a stopwatch with split-time measurement, and a countdown timer. The entire design is unified by an intuitive user interface and convenient, easy-to-access control buttons–a handy extra when hiking or climbing in tough conditions. Additional features include an electro-luminescent backlight, a user-replaceable battery, and an attractive black housing. In addition, the Vector is backed by a two-year warranty on parts and labor.

Customer Review: Suunto Vector
Have owned this watch for about 6 months. I think this watch is an excellent outdoor/hiking piece of equipment and there is not a lot I would change about it. I would have liked to have dual time incorporated into the watch for when I travel to other time zones, I would have liked a more scratch resistant crystal (It has a plastic “crystal”) although the bezel is slightly above the crystal, stopping most damage, it is pretty easily scratched if one is not careful and finally a more robust/rugged strap would have been appreciated. On the whole it is a great watch for the money, I paid $199. I could have had all of the extra features by getting an Observer or X-Lander instead of the Vector. I would also have had to pay at least $100 more. I would recommend this watch to a freind

Customer Review: Rocky Roku to you!
I do not work for Roku, and I am a techno geek. With that said, I have had my unit for about a month, and it is awesome! I am listening to “radio” from around the world and genera I want to hear including “satellite radio”! The sound is adequate if not a tad bassy for my taste, but all in all great (the faster the stream the better the sound)! The “clock radio” part works great too, and will wake you up even with the ear plug plugged into the thing!! Anything bad? Sure why not…. the CLOCK display, it goes away at the darndest times, like when the alarm goes off, or so small ya can’t read it (it needs its own fulltime spot). Other then that the boys from Roku did a great job…..just go buy one!!!
Customer Review: Excellent products; two caveats.
The Roku SoundBridge Radio is an excellent alternative to its smaller sibling, the SoundBridge. What you get is a Bose Wavetable style radio piece that performs a wonderful number of functions and is very good at what it is meant to do. I especially like the Internet Radio feature which lets you pick up on stations that you might have never thought existed, through the RadioRoku.com feature. As far as software integration goes, I’ve had no problems getting it working with Itunes or Windows Media Player. There are a few things I do not like about the Roku Radio though. Firstly, it is a little annoying that there is no way to control Bass/Treble on the device. Perhaps Roku meant this as a tribute to the WaveTable, but it has to be the one annoyance I hate most about the WaveTable. That said, the sound quality is very good, excellent almost. The other thing that bothers me about the Roku is that it works only on a 802.11b connection and not a ‘g’ connection which has better range. This leads to some patchy wireless connections depending on the quality of wireless router you have. Roku is openly transparent about this issue and admits that quality/cost issues prevent them from putting a ‘g’ chip in. The other thing that I find annoying is that the remote control doesn’t have a sleep timer option (you have to manually press the sleep button on the device… painful if you’re in bed and want to doze off!) or a way to set the alarm. These have to be done manually. That said, the Roku is wonderful. I play with it every day and I love it more. I am planning to buy the SoundBridge without the radio for another part of my house.

Customer Review: Great Replacement Blades
These blades are direct NORELCO brand replacement blades for the Spectra razor. They fit perfectly and restore the “brand new” shaving experience that you may be missing due to old, dull blades.

If your blades are more than a year old or you notice that your shave is not as close as it once was, getting a set of these new blades may make the difference. This is my second set and they really did the trick.

Check the Norelco Website if you are unsure if these fit your model but other than that there is nothing to worry about. Incidentally, there are less expensive places to buy them other than Amazon. The shipping kills their competitive pricing.

Customer Review: The Blade Isn’t The Problem
The razor blades work fine for a close shave. The problem here is that the blades are shipped from an independent seller who has charged me 10$ shipping costs on a product that costs just 33$! Why does an item that weighs just a few ounces warrant an inflated shipping cost like that? Shaver’s Outlet, who supplies this item for Amazon customers, care to explain yourselves? I can go into any retail discount store and buy a new razor for that price. This will be the first and last time you receive an order for one your products from this very ticked off customer.

The book contains the same type of data as last year’s edition as it gives the general background of each brand, the specs of each watch and the MSR Price. A very good thing about this new edition is that contains more watch brands than the 2007 edition, less known brands, and it reviews more watch models from each manufacturer compared to last year’s. Of course this Book contains the the most representative New watches for this year from each manufacturer together with specs and pictures and the thing I love about this book is that it lists the Base Price of the watches ( price may vary depending on the final retailer ).

If you love Christmas carols, you will find this to be a real treasure trove. This double-CD is compiled from various Christmas albums recorded by English choirs. Between them, they seem to have included every famous carol and a lot of obscure ones. The seven choirs are the choir of King’s college (Cambridge), the Bach Choir (London), the Clare College singers (Cambridge), the Temple Church choir (London), the Taverners choir, the Midiaevel Baebes and the Huddersfield choral society. A brief history of each is included in the liner notes. Some of these carols are world famous including Hark the herald angels sing, The first noel, O little town of Bethlehem, Away in a manger, Silent night, Joy to the world, We three kings and O come all ye faithful. Some others are famous in Britain but (judged on what I’ve seen of American Christmas albums) are not especially well known in America. These include While shepherds watched, Once in Royal David’s city, In the bleak midwinter and The holly and the ivy. I have come across American covers of these songs - but not often. There are yet other songs which are obscure even to me, but it’s great to have them all in one collection. At the import price, it might look expensive, but what would you have to spend to get all these Christmas carols any other way? If you enjoy Christmas carols, I doubt if you’ll find a better collection anywhere, although a modified version of this compilation (Best Christmas Carols…Ever is also available with a different sequence and some different tracks. Really, there’s not much to choose between them in quality, so compare the prices and availability and select accordingly.

Customer Review: Buyer Beware…
I love the battery, and have several of them for my various Nikon cameras. But I gave this a low review because of the issues that I had with the battery that I got. The battery that I got in the mail when I ordered this worked in my D200 but not my D300. Doing some research, it turns out that I got a counterfeit battery. These batteries work (probably not quite right) in the D200 but not the D300. Looking at the battery it is easy to tell the fake battery, by looking at the Nikon hologram. When you look at the hologram at a 30 degree angle, it should look Green, while the fake one continues the orange tint.

Just beware when buying…

I think this is a good brand of Stevia - I’ve tried a few of the others and Stevita tends to be more sweet and less bitter, and to have less of an aftertaste. It still cannot be used as a replacement for sugar for everything of course, but it works well in small doses, particularly in yogurt and oatmeal.

Customer Review: A great alternative to all other sweetners.
Years ago, before you could buy Stevia in the states (the sugar lobbyists kept it out of America for many years) I ordered a bunch from South America and we would order it in raw form, funny now that i think of it. It was to sweet and hard to control portions I couldn’t use it. In packets it’s wonderful. Of course I hear people complain about it having a slight taste of something else, and quit using it. I use it because it is better for me then either Equal or the Spelenda. Both of them leave an after taste you have to get used to. I would love to just use sugar, but I have to watch my sugar intake, and this is just the ticket. I gave it 5 stars, I take it for different reasons then other people. I would rather have a little taste of liquorish in my coffee, then dry mouth with Equal or Spelenda. It only takes a week or so to get accustomed to this, so it’s a 5 star in my book. I had to get used to Equal, so what is the difference? It’s a natural product, no warnings on the box, tastes good, low carbs, it is well worth getting your taste buds used to this stuff.

Customer Review: Pretty but pretty useless
I searched all over for these as a replacement for a very similar set we had for many years that was actually lucite and great as bottle stoppers. These, it turns out, are really crystal and even prettier! I bought two sets to give one as a gift. We tried to use one of ours ours out last night. They are heavy and will not stay in the wine bottle without careful balance, and certainly cannot go in the refrigerator. We tried pushing it down and the top o-ring broke. It does look lovely on the table, but not very useful and we cannot gift the second set.

Customer Review: Temperature sensor completely unreliable
I purchased 4 of these for my house and each of them had the same problem. The automatic temperature sensor simply did not work. So the heater would sense that it was cold and turn itself on for literally 30 seconds and then turn off. And then a couple of minutes later, it’ll go on for 30 seconds and then turn off. Kept waking me up in the middle of the night. Stay away from this product.

Customer Review: Great game, especially for kids
When we first got this game, we blasted our way through every carnival game on the disc. Some were more fun than others, I like the only where you throw the ball at the clowns on a shelf the best. After a few times through each game, it tends to get a bit boring, and I don’t play it so much anymore. The kids still like playing the game though, and would play any chance they could in order to increase the “prizes” that they have earned. This would be a great party game though, given that the games are short, and there’s such a huge variety of games to pick from.

One thing that was frustrating to me was that I thought it only worked with one remote. Well, I didn’t see it until after a few games of passing the remote back and forth, but at the beginning, when you’re going head to head with someone, there’s a box you have to click which changes it so that each player has his/her own remote. Once I figured that out, the game was much more enjoyable.

Overall, a fun game for sporatic play, but definitely not something that you’ll be playing everyday.

This game is truly like being at a real Carnival. The only thing missing are the real stuffed animals. The skill it takes to play the games is amazing. I am using this game at my game party and I will have real stuffed animals, cotton candy, pop corn, ice cream, all the good stuff at a carnival. It is meant to evoke awareness of these more subtle dimensions and even in book form could be used for meditations. This book also contains images of Jesus, the Boddhisattva of infinite compassion and other enlightened beings. Again, these are meant for contemplative experiences where you look for these energies in yourself as part of a contemplative practice. There are also some beautiful images of a couple kissing, making love, a small family, etc. These latter category of images are similar to the cover in that they represent the various spheres of Being from the gross body through the spirit. This book is on the large side, is printed on very high quality paper and contains a lot of color plates as well as contextual information. It is a bargain at the price it is being sold and some of the text is written by Ken Wilber. If you are not familiar with Ken Wilber’s work, either Kosmic Consciousness or A Brief History of Everything would be a great place to get started. Either of these resources will help you to appreciate Grey’s art in more depth and understand what he is trying to achieve.

Return to Mysterious Island is an interactive adventure game about a women who ends up shipwrecked on an island and must find a way off. FUN and NON-LINEAR! The best feature of this game is that it is completely non-linear. You can play the game in any order and there are several different ways to solve problems. This allows the player more creativity. The puzzles range from easy to challenging and I am sure there are still some things I did not figure to do the first time I played! GRAPHICS/MUSIC The graphics are pretty good, though most of the action is seen in cartoon drawings rather than in actual action. The music is decent too. This is a great game for Adventure game for adventure game lovers!

Remember the godawful Destiny’s Child video slapped onto the “Original Television Christmas Classics” box set a few years ago???

Now, let me address the previous revewier, “A. King”. Umm… I hate to tell you this but you don’t appear to know much about Rankin-Bass animation. The studio did not use Claymation in its animation but the tried-and-true wire armature process. Think the original King Kong… and a Happy 75th B-day to you, Kong!!! ‘Claymation’ is a term trademarked exactly 30 years ago by it’s creator, Will Vinton.

With that said, buy the original release of The Easter Bunny Is Comin’ to Town and have a blast with Sunny, Gadzooks and the Big Rock Candy Mountain!!!

Another claymation classic! I remember very little of this as a child and as I rewatched it, it all came back to me. If you enjoy Santa Claus is Coming to Town, you’ll enjoy this. It has many similarities with questions being answered about the main character, mountain villians who turn nice, somber towns, a cruel ruler, catchy songs, memorable, adorable characters, etc. Sunny the Bunny is adorable with his rosey cheeks and the chickens are so sassy. And bringing back Fred Astaire at the Narrator was a smart choice. I recommend this DVD or the one made a few years back. The nice one about this is the DVD has a paper cover over it and Sunny has fuzzy fur you can feel. It may be cheesey at times, but give in to your inner child and have fun!

Ok, this machine prints nice labels, but, it’s tempermental… 90% temper 10% mental. And, man is it stupid! In this day and age of user friendly devices how can something that prints labels and wastes 80% of the tape tell you the label is too long and then make you guess at how long you need to make the tape to make it work? I don’t get it. Couldn’t it figure out how long it needs to be??? And, why does it have to waste so much tape? If you get to use 20% of the tape for actual printing you’ll be lucky.

I received the Liberty Spring Horse today and wanted to put it together in case there were any pieces missing or any defects. I was pleased how well packed everything was and how easy it was to put together. This product is very sturdy and durable. The springs are great on it and the motion of the horse is very smooth. I was also pleased with the fabric over the springs for added protection. Overall, this is an outstanding buy and my wife and I are very pleased. My son is almost 2 1/2 but we bought this horse for him when he was 18 months. He loved it at first and it has been durable for us but he was very small when he was riding it alot. He now only rides it some, so we have had no problems thus far. It is a very big horse though so if you are looking for a small child I would suggest looking at some of the smaller less expensive ones.

One of the first things I bought for my infant daughter was a collection of the Baby Einstein cd’s, and I’m so glad I did! My girl just loves to listen and brightens up everytime the orchestra tunes up at the start of the cd. The West Bend 40053 Timer is an excellent choice for my daughter, who hasn’t much room in her kitchen, and who has to contend with a 3-year-old, a dog and 2 cats while she is preparing meals. Nice machine. Worth the money. Sounds like a smoke alarm and it scares the dog. We had one of the original west bend triples and it was super simple whcih is good. This one is more complicated to use. Not sure the clock is worth the trouble but it is there.

Good illustrations, nice layout which is fairly easy to follow. There is a lot of information on US watches and a light overview on watches manufactured in other countries. Very happy with this product, am a big fan of the show. Removing one star for the following two reasons - (1) Shipping Costs Shipping seemed very expensive and cost more than the 3 shirts I had bought (Shipping to Ireland) (2) Back Print Quality Print quality of tour dates is a bit hard to read, this is more due to the font used and the size of the text however. It is not an issue with the print quality, I would just like to make that clear. Other than that the print quality and the t-shirt quality were both excellent, I will certainly be ordering from this seller again.
