I was looking to replace my whirley pop popcorn maker and I found this one instead. I liked the fact that is made better and would last longer. (I broke the gears on my whirley-pop one). We’ve used it weekly for about a month now and it’s working well. Only problem is the lid not closing, but I had read that in other reviews. I’m not sure how to fix that, but since it’s minor, I don’t reall mind. Popcorn always comes out great!

In the late eighties I was an aerobics fanatic. I tried so many different videos it was ridculous. This Jane Fonda work out was the absolute best. I used it for years. I thought it was thorough, covered all the body parts and the results were an overall slimming of the entire body without bulking up any part of my body. During my jogging phase, I noticed that my legs got bulky, which I didn’t like. This work out starts with warms ups, aerobics that are intense, floor work to stretch and strengthen legs, tummy and everything else and a good cool down that you are very grateful for. I always felt really good after these workouts and very proud of myself. I am now rededicating myself to a daily workout schedule and the first thing that came to mind was this video. I will start with the beginners version and work myself up to the advanced. It is so good it’s almost ridiculous!!

Customer Review: Almost Perfect
I bought this so I could see the large numbers without my glasses on. It is very good for that. There are only two things that ought to be improved upon. First, there is no easy way to see what time the alarm is set for– you have to slide a switch over one notch- and one notch only- to see this. This movement is hard with the lights on and almost impossible with the lights off. If you push the switch hard enough to move it, it wants to go more than one notch. This function should be done via a push button like on other alarm clocks. The other issue is similar– you have to slide a different switch one notch only to activate the alarm mode. This would be OK if the switch had only two positions, but it has several, again making the one stop slide difficult. Other than these two small issues, this alarm clock radio if perfect.

My 11 month old loves these (and has since she could first grab) but they do not work like they are designed. They are impossible for her to squeeze and they are hard for me to get them to connect and stay put. They are also a cleaning nightmare. They get very gross on the inside and I cant seem to ever get them clean. The directions tell you to drain them after each use but I can never get all the water out. If I can get them clean enough I will just stop using them in the bath.

You can also play back DVD-Video (but only if a hardware or software DVD decoder is already installed) and play MP3 audio files and MPEG videos (but sadly not the popular RealMedia formats). XP’s built-in firewall is a simple affair, but it does prevent most types of unauthorized connections.

The XP user interface is not a radical departure from earlier versions of Windows, but there are a number of small changes that together add up to a significant improvement. Windows online help is integrated into a Help and Support Center that works like an internal Web site, with searchable help, tutorials, and walkthroughs. Windows XP Home is demanding on hardware, and it would be a mistake to install it on less than Microsoft’s recommended minimum. Business users note: unlike Windows 98 or Me, XP Home Edition cannot join a Windows server domain, so the networking is peer-to-peer only–see Windows XP Professional Edition for this functionality. There is also no multiprocessor support, and a mildly annoying anti-piracy measure requires you to obtain a code from Microsoft for full installation and any future system changes. But don’t let that put you off: this is Microsoft’s best Windows yet.

Customer Review: XP for Me is Solid and Good
I have XP running on a bootcamp partition on my MacBook and it is doing just fine. I spend most of my working time in Word, hardly ever using any of the other programs in the Office suite. However, I use the Adobe products PhotoShop, InDesign and Illustrator a whole bunch. Other than that I play solitaire, watch videos and, of course, use both Explorer and Firefox when I go online. That’s about it for me, software wise, and XP handles it all without fail, without crashing and without giving me any headaches.

And I will miss it when I upgrade to Vista, however my machine can handle the upgrade. If yours can’t, then I’d recommend you stay with XP. It’s solid and good. Vista may be better, but it’s not worth buying a new computer over.

Customer Review: Great if you can find it
I use this at work everyday. The outlook is great, because it offers a few new features and is really simple to use. However, the Word, Excel, and Powerpoint products have drastically changed. If you can find where they have moved everything it runs well, but don’t be surprised if you spend 20 minutes doing something that previously took you 2 minutes to do, because you can’t find the right options.

Having gotten used to the new look of Microsoft Office 2007 from using Office 2007 Professional at work, I had no trouble getting used to this version of Office. One fantastic addition to the home and student version is Onenote. I love this notebook style program and use it a lot.
